I'm the kind of guy who enjoys a good beer, an invigorating hike in the woods, and... oh... traveling the world? Among other things, I've been fortunate enough to live in the Rockies, scuba dive in the Red Sea, drive a freighter through the Halifax harbor, and eat a genuine English muffin.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't surfed yet but have hosted many touring bands at my house as I work at a live music venue/bar. I'm looking forward to meeting many new friends as I travel around this summer.

Music... that's a tough one. If I were to put iTunes on shuffle this could potentially happen: Miles Davis, Radiohead, Chopin, Patrick Watson, Nick Drake, Stevie Wonder, Opeth, Norah Jones, etc.

Movies... that are on the shelf closest to me: Amelie, Eternal Sunshine, Shawshank Redemption, Garden State, American Psycho, Vie en Rose, Rambo.

Books, some favourite authors are: Oliver Sacks, Malcolm Gladwell, George Orwell, and Kurt Vonnegut.
