About Me
CURRENT MISSION
make beauty, appreciate beauty, share beauty, love
ABOUT ME
after graduating college, i moved to austin in search of art-adventure. i found it.
PHILOSOPHY
the two most important & valuable things to me are relationships and art.
i try to be good to everyone. i try to be kind to everyone. i love my friends a lot, and they know it. i'm always making new friends. one of my goals is that i should always be increasing the amount of love in the world.
my art and the art of others is valuable to me as communication; it's such a robust way to share what it is like to be ourselves with one another... i love words, but i'm often rather kludgy with them, and they frequently don't suffice.
i suppose art is also the only thing other than human relationships that has, for me, inherent value, and is desirable as an end in itself... i'm a total beauty worshipper, and am always trying to find new beauty.
geez, couchsurfing, why you gotta ask me these hard questions?

Teach, Learn, Share
i circuit bend, which is the art of making strange noisy instruments from toy keyboards and other toy electronics. i would happily teach the basics of this to anyone who stayed at my house.
i know some fun nooks and crannies of austin. i will either take you to them or at least point you toward them (see the cathedral of junk, at least!).
i'm also happy to teach or learn anything related to making and recording music, especially electronic music. if you want to know more about what i know or want to learn, ask me.
