I grew up in Vienna, spend a year on a tiny Danish island after finishing school... then I was backpacking through India and Nepal and after that I spent 5 years studying in the UK. Now I've been back in my home city for a couple of years and I work as a teacher :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of couchsurfing - getting to know new places through someone who actually lives there is the best!

My interests change every year :) At the moment it's hiking, traveling, badminton, theatre and generally getting to know people from around the world and just enjoying life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a day in No-man's-land: Having passed the Russian border but not being allowed to enter Mongolia...

Being in a Rickshaw in Bangalore when the driver suddenly suggested: "Do you want to drive?" - "Oh yes!"

Having to leave Astana because our cars were too dirty :D

Walking over the frozen sea from one Danish island to another one.

Teaching 25 12-year-olds every day... :)
