Hello,
I am Sonam Sodha, born in Muscat-Oman brought up in Gujarat India. I come from the area know for white dessert (Gulf of Kutch). Its a beautiful district with sweet and peaceful people, My home is just 10 mins walking distance from Beach. Currently residing in Himachal Pradesh. Professionally, I am developing a farmer's co-operative society by the means of cannabis hemp farming in Himalayan belt. My organisation is called Himalayan Hemp and vision is to work for uplifting marginalised communities. My work requires lot of travelling in Himalayan region. I am also a dance instructor. I teach folk and Indian free styles, I am also a certified Zumba instructor. I love dancing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned my work requires lot of travelling. and thus I understand how helpful the concept of Couchsurfing is. I am a travellers and like to meet new energies. I find learning is never-ending and travelling is my school. People I meet, places I travel, food, way of being and everything is a wonderful experience and as many says experience is "The Teacher". So I learn from the best teacher.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have created cannabis hemp reusable sanitary pads which are stitched by local women (work from home) that will help generate some income for women. It is biodegradable and can be washed and reused for 1 year. its an eco conscious product. We (me and my co-founder) are working on launching it soon in the market.
