I enjoy reading however have not done as much reading I would like to, being on a beach or by a pool really helps me with that. I really enjoy theater and a few years ago have helped on the lighting staff of several shows. I love TV show's more than I really enjoy movies. I find the character connections that I am able to develop over several seasons verses just an hour and a half movie are more my style. I also love food and believe that you can learn a lot about a culture based on their daily meals. I look forward to meeting new people, developing new relationships and hopefully friendships as well.

I have always wanted to travel the world, however for most of my life I have been putting it off. I have recently made a promise to myself to make the travel happen. I am here to find accommodations that fit within our (I travel with my husband of 2 years) budget range. I want to learn more about the culture of the regions we visit. I believe that staying with locals will be able to help us do that.
