Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting up new people and making friends from everywhere :D. I want to know about you life that might be completely different from mine and therefore offers me a completely new way to perceive my own life. I want to explore the new, unfamiliar place with the perspective of a local, native host, which enables me to truly get to know the place i am visiting. Instead of merely acting like a visitor, I prefer to become someone that truly belongs to the city after several days of exploring.

Interests

First of all, I love traveling sooooo much. I love the process of exploring an unfamiliar and exotic place, getting to know the place from nothing to everything. I love cultures and languages. I am always intrigued by special customs and festivals. I am also a huge food fan. I am ok with any kind of food and willing to try new food. I am especially into Thai food and curry. I also love outdoor activities, especially hiking, snorkeling, and diving. I am thinking about getting a scuba diving license from Thailand this summer. Not like many other Chinese girls, I don't mind getting tanned at all, but instead quite enjoy sun. I love dancing, simply just can't help moving my body whenever i hear the beat. I love singing rap song though i am suck at it.

My taste for music is very cliche. Basically i love all the music on billboard, especially hip-hop and pop music (sorry, but country music is really not my thing). love pitbull, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo...

I love Indian movies very much. My favorite one is 3 Idiots (if you haven't watched this movies, you have to check it out!!! Trust me, it's the movie that you can't miss!!!) I am also a huge horror movie fan. I am especially into Thai and Japanese horror movies.

I love reading love stories and fiction. Recently I am reading The Elephant Vanished by Haruki Murakami. my favorite Japanese writer

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Fiji for two weeks to take care of sea turtles. We cleaned the tank, got new fresh water, picked up sea weed from sea and fed the turtles every day. I also helped the local organic farm plant tomatoes in the morning sometimes. I made friends with a bunch of local kids who taught me Fijian though I've forgotten most of them lol. I also did scuba diving and Tequila shot for the first time in Fiji, which is really phenomenal. The day when i flew from Levuka island to Suva, I took a super tiny plane with only seven seats in total and the best thing is that i was the only passenger. The plane flew quite low throughout the flight and i can see the incredible view of innumerable islands and sand banks dotted on the green ocean
