关于我
Hey! I’m Songzi — just call me Song. I’m a backpacker and digital nomad, been on the road for ~3 years. Spent 2 years exploring all around China, and this year I finally started my first trip abroad. My first work exchange and Couchsurfing stay were in Mongolia — felt so free and alive.
Right now I’m slowly making my way through Central Asia, Europe, and Africa — about 15 countries in total. This trip started super randomly — one day I just felt like changing countries, packed my bag, and left.
Not really into tight plans. I like staying longer in each place, living slowly, seeing daily life instead of just ticking off sights. For me, the best part is feeling the local rhythm, living a bit like locals do.
ON THE ROAD
Aug 27 - Sep 25 — Almaty, Kazakhstan
Sep 25 - Oct 19 — across Uzbekistan (Tashkent → Samarkand → Bukhara → Nukus → Khiva → Urgench)
Oct 19 - Nov 14 — Baku, Azerbaijan
Nov 15 - Dec 14 - Tbilisi, Georgia
Dec 15 - ??? - Yerevan, Armenia (now here!)
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
Not here just for a free bed — I love seeing life through locals, sharing food, stories, or random moments. Sleep anywhere is fine — sofa, floor, whatever. I travel a lot, eat simply, and love real talks about life and culture.
I dont believe the whole “countries” thing. Grew up in a remote village in China, so my curiosity about the world is way bigger than I imagined. Fun part is when I chat with people in different countries, I sometimes find stuff that reminds me of home — those moments are special, and I wanna have more of them.
I’m also kinda iffy about “relationships.” I feel the only thing we can really hold on to is the now: put phones down, actually look at each other, listen — that’s what matters. Not super social 24/7 tho! Most important is just feeling the moment, no judging, even no pics, just vibes.✌️

音乐、电影和书籍
Big fan of electronic music, mostly techno and psytrance :))))))) but also love local folk sounds. Always try to find local music wherever I go and see how people dance.
Movie loverrrrrrrr. Agnès Varda is a huge inspo. Recently watched Robot Dreams and Titane — wow. Also love documentaries — all those hidden corners of the world, so fascinating.
Poetry is a big deal for me. Been writing Chinese poems for years — sometimes society, sometimes feelings. Publishing back home is tricky, so I’ve done small exhibitions and graffiti projects with friends. Lately I’ve been reading Clarice Lispector and Simone Weil.

Backpacking for the past 3 years — still going!
教,学,和分享
I can teach simple Chinese cooking, keeping things tidy, or even cut & dye hair (haven’t been to a salon in years). Worked in a whisky bar too, so I can mix a few cocktails — maybe with a lil twist ;)
I can share what I’ve learned about self-expression — in front of a camera or off it. I was the main subject in a documentary project for 3 years, and it taught me a lot about being honest ; just myself.
Learning English more naturally, trying to live sustainably — for now that means carrying my own bag and picking up trash sometimes, but hoping to do more.

Can help with cleaning, organizing, or cooking Chinese food. If we have the right ingredients, can whip up a cocktail too.
Love chill, honest convos. Observant, usually notice moods easily. After 3 years traveling 40+ cities, I adapt fast and find small joys everywhere.
I love spotting shared history between countries — especially stories about women & LGBTQ+ people. If you’re curious, I can also show how I use AI tools for remote work & creative stuff.
