Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to travel inexpensively and benefit from the knowledge and suggestions of local people at our destinations. We feel it is only fair to offer the same. We have found that some of the nicest people travel and we want to meet some new folks and have a few adventures.

Mike: Some expertise in criminal law, digestive disorders, pain relief, and parenting... although the jury is still out on that one.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge of area activities, use of our property for hiking, animal/bird watching, camping, lodging, kitchen use. Depending on guests and timing, we might participate in meals, conversation, or day trips but guests should come, just expecting lodging only. We are helpful, friendly, courteous, responsible, and we do what we say we will do. We hope for the same from you.
