ABOUT ME

Just wrapping up my Master's, I am a part-time editor, which has little to do with my degree!

I love trying and learning new things, meeting new people, and visiting new places.

I tend to be outgoing and love being around people. That said, I enjoy doing things on my own, and often go on adventures by myself when no one else has time/is interested.

PHILOSOPHY

I face my fears and live with no regrets, though it's not always a graceful process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've spread the word to friends. I'm looking forward to having a couch to offer in the future and the time to show people around my home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've Couchsurfed with only one person, but it was a great experience. I also had a fun time at a CouchSurfing meet up I heard about through a friend.

Interests

I like spending time outdoors, especially when it's warm and sunny, but I'm not too picky, rain can be fun too. Some things I like are running, cycling, and hiking. I especially like hiking in mountains, although I'm still a beginner.

Indoors, I love cooking/baking as well as playing board games! When I get the chance I spend time on my piano. I keep beginning to learn new instruments, but I always return to the piano.

Music, Movies, and Books

I go through phases of reading voraciously to reading very little. Some of my favourites include: A Sand County Almanac, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (trilogy in 5 parts), 1984, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and short stories by Stewart McClain.

I listen to music as my mood takes me. I dance to electro and house. I hang out to rock. I chill out and nap to a variety of instrumental/ambient/electronic music.
