Hi, I'm Florian Blume, a German student who's going to be in Sheffield for the autumn semester. I'm easy going and usually get along with everyone. I like being around people and I'm always up for something to do together :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I didn't participate in CS until now, but I'm currently looking somewhere to stay in Sheffield for the first couple days and thought CS would be a good option.
I'm also thinking about sharing my place when I'm back in Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None until now, but I'm up for gaining some :)

Interests

I like hanging out with friends and meeting new people. Also, I enjoy sports or outdoor activities (kayaking and stuff), board or card games, like to talk about politics but everything else, too :)
I really love travelling, I've just been to Australia and Thailand/Cambodia (and Europe of course ;)) but I'd like to add more countries to the list!
And of course I like having a drink every now and then!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different types of music (doesn't matter if it's rock, metal, pop or hip-hop) although of couse I've got my favorite ones like electronic music (techno, minimal, or more relaxing stuff like Waldeck).

The books I read are often political ones, but I also enjoy fantasy books which I usually read in English (e.g. The Lightbringer Trilogy by Brent Weeks).

And I like many different movies, just not those spineless romances ;)
