My government name is Ali but since childhood I've been always called Ilia. I’m a 23-year-old avid traveler with a passion for exploring new places and meeting amazing people. I have a Bachelor’s degree in French Literature, which has fueled my love for learning about foreign languages and cultures. I'm currently studying Master's degree in Computational Linguistics as I'm into electronics too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up on Couchsurfing to connect with local people and immerse myself in their cultures. I believe that the best way to learn about a place is through the eyes of its residents.
I’m excited about the opportunity for language and culture exchange, and I love the idea of exploring cities with native people who can show me hidden gems that tourists often miss.
Making new friends and creating happy memories is what I cherish the most.
Additionally, I might be able to host tourists at my parents’ house, offering them a warm and welcoming stay.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I mostly prefer electronic and dance music, but I enjoy a wide variety of genres depending on my mood.
For movies, I have a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy films. As a teenager, I was a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, and it still holds a special place in my heart.
As I loved mystery and magic, I naturally gravitate towards the fantasy genre.
