ABOUT ME

Hi, i am taking a year of from my ":normal" life to see the world a little bit. My son, who is 9 is very lucky because I have chosen him as my travel buddy...although some days i think he wonders about his luck!

We have a round the world ticket and are staying with families and friends, we are on the workaway website and so far have volunteered in 2 B&B's, on a surf camp and have helped a family with their earthship build in Belize. We are having a great adventure and if you would be kind enough to share your home with us, that would be amazing.

PHILOSOPHY

To do what you love, to try to be kind, to spend time in nature, to work with a smile, to be a better listener...one of my favourite buddhist teachings is..." what does this moment require?" and also the one about the moccasins.." walk a mile etc"

A good Oprahs book club read, Paulo Coelho, Tim Winton, like live music, nothing too heavy...a bit folky, story tellers, singer songwriters. i am still listening to the Passenger.

I saw the Aurora Australis....southern lights, quite unexpectedly while walking with friends on a western Australian beach. it was unforgettable!
