About Me

Hi, I’m 25 — traveling with open arms, a curious spirit, and a heart that’s ready to share. I believe in living life fully, but mindfully. As William Blake wrote, “He who binds to himself a joy / Does the winged life destroy.” That line captures how I see the world: joy is meant to be experienced, shared, and set free.

I travel to expand my mind, admire beauty in all its forms, and share authentic moments with people from all walks of life.

Meditation and prayer are a part of my daily life — they keep me grounded and open. I value peaceful presence, deep listening, and sincere conversations that explore different perspectives and cultures with respect and curiosity.

Nature is my happy place — especially the beach, where I can sit with the waves. I’m also a lover of books, and I enjoy diving into different subcultures that show the diversity of human expression and creativity.

So far, I’ve explored parts of Scotland, Italy, Spain, Panama, and various corners of the U.S., and I plan to continue expanding. I travel not to escape life, but to meet it more fully — through architecture, food, language, and shared time with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurf to connect and experience places through the eyes of those who live there. For me, travel isn’t just about seeing sights, but expanding my mind and heart through conversation, culture, and community.

I’m also a student, which means I’m on a budget sometimes. Couchsurfing helps make travel more accessible while staying rooted in what matters most to me: authentic human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste shifts with my mood and whatever life is stirring up at the moment. I tend to be drawn to things that have depth, soul, or a bit of strangeness — whether that’s in books, films, or music. Sometimes I want something quiet and reflective, other times I want something raw, loud, or completely offbeat.

Books that have stuck with me:
Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck, and pretty much anything by Kahlil Gibran. I like writing that explores the mind, spirit, and all the messy stuff in between.

When it comes to films, I lean toward the alternative, emotional, or darkly funny — films like Charade, Sling Blade, anything by Pedro Almodóvar, and Snatch are some to name a few.

Music-wise, my taste is wide and a little hard to pin down. I connect with something in almost every era and genre — from ambient, shoegaze, and 90's/ alternative techno to grunge, rap, folk, jazz, blues, classical, Latin music...etc.

To name a few artists I always come back to:
Massive Attack, Boards of Canada, The Cure, Slowdive, Cocteau Twins, Robin Guthrie, Kendrick Lamar, Aphex Twin, Meshuggah, Autechre, Jeff Buckley, Air, Alice In Chains, Lou Reed, The Clash, Luis Alberto Spinetta — and many more that don’t fit neatly into categories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been there for my family when things got hard, and I’ve accompanied people in moments when all they needed was to be heard, seen, and loved. Being present for others in their most human moments is something I carry with gratitude and joy — it reminds me that life at its core, is about learning to love fully.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ve lived many different walks of life in the short time I’ve been on this earth — each one teaching me something about resilience, connection, and the beauty of being human. My ultimate goal is to reach into people’s hearts, to share openly, and to love more fully, wherever I go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company or shared space if desired, I can be both social or quiet whenever the time is right and needed, meaningful (or wonderfully ridiculous) conversations, share a stroll around town and hopefully a good meal — possibly with a bottle of wine.
