As you have read above, I am on couchsurfing for experience with locals and to make more genuine human connections while traveling. It is so easy to get lost and lonely as a tourist, and I believe the best way to stop and take everything in is to do it with someone who is willing to join you and learn with you.

I have had it for about a year now, but I’m still not as proficient as I would like, so if you know a thing or two please help a girl out. I am also interested in environmental sustainability. Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: When it comes to music, I like almost anything. I can’t help but melt to smooth jazz at night in the city. Although it’s cliche every second of it is enjoyable. I love almost all rock including but not limited too: The Rolling Stones, Pixies, Talking Heads, Vampire Weekend, Led Zeppelin, Santana. My guilty pleasures would include sappy jams like “Kiss Me” by Sixth Pence None the Richer, “Us” by Regina Spector, plus so much more. Hopefully this give you a good idea of what I would listen to.
Movies: I’m a huge fan of everything Quentin Tarantino directed, as well as directors like Wes Anderson, or the Coen Brothers. I enjoy both modern and classic films. A night spent watching a movie with Marlon Brando starring it in is a night well spent.
Books: At this moment, I am reading Vonnegut. I’ve enjoyed both of his most famous works, Slaughterhouse five and Cats Cradle, but now I am onto some less popular ones. I also enjoy lighter reads like Eat, Pray,Love, as well as SciFi novels like “the Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.”

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I’m honestly proud of myself for being here in Italy. I come from a small town in the United States where people generally do not leave their houses never mind the country itself. This is my first time away from North America, before I only had travelled throughout my country and a few surrounding. I’m excited and willing to experience as many new traditions as I’m given the opportunity to do so. This is one of the millions of feats I know I will overcome and succeed throughout my life.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

This experience can be a win for both subjects, especially if you are hoping to advance your English. I can for sure help anyone out. As of this moment, I am an English tutor to three beautiful children. For me, I am hoping to learn more about the history of the area I’ll be in and just a local perspective. I wish to share laughter, conversation, and experience together. There’s nothing I care about more than human connection and affection. I am a firm believer in the quote, “If you wish to be loved, love.” I hope to join you and your community as soon as possible.
