I was the Youth Board President of a non-profit charity in my hometown which helped to raise funds for homeless families in the valley. We believed that a little goes a long way, that while it is important to teach everyone how to fish, if the stream has run dry that knowledge will not be helpful. We relied on microdonations and community to help families pay for rent, medical bills, one seizure dog, funeral costs, and so on.
Every year the youth board would put on a benefit concert in the park with 12 hours of music, face paint, hot dogs, chalk and bubbles.

I can teach basic guitar and song writing!! My family has always participated in Personal Development courses, and my dad is a Life Coach, so I like to take on what I've learned in non-guided art classes. It can be very healing!

I want to learn French! And gardening! I'm a housekeeper professionally, but what are your best cleaning tips? I want to learn contracting! I once built a table out of drift wood, and it worked out terribly, but I've got a lot of perseverance and I want to learn! I want to learn about what I want to think instead of what I have been told to think.

I can share my music and my art, my own cleaning tips (how to get the corners of microwaves, and how to fold fitted sheets!) I would share my cooking skills but I'm actually hoping to learn that more than share :-)
