About Me
Hey guys,
I'm Sophia, 23 years old from Stuttgart, Germany. I am an engineering student and I work in the international office at my university. I love getting to know different people, languages, cultures and food. I like to explore cities (I've been to a lot of big cities in Europe), to go hiking, running and just being active in general, but I also watch movies, series and hang around ;).
I would love to welcome you in my tiny apartment and show you some nice spots in the city when you're in Stuttgart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently living in Greensboro, NC, USA studying Biomedical Engineering as an exchange student. I've been in the US once before, but I was two years old, so I don't have any memories ;). I really want to use that time now to explore this huge country and get to know a lot of new people and their way of living here. Of course traveling is expensive but sleeping on other people's couches is not only cheapter, it is also a nicer experience than staying in some anonymous hotel. They look the same everywhere and when I travel, I really want to feel the flair of the city and get to know the way of living there.
If you feel the same, I would be pleased to invite you to sleep on my couch when I'm back in Germany as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to all kinds of music, except for extreme hard rock. But even if you like hard rock, I guess we can get along anyway ;). I like all kinds of movies, with one exception as well: horror movies ;). I read a lot of modern novels and I'd be happy if you'd tell me about your favorite books, so I can read even more :).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every trip I've taken so far was amazing :). I've been to Scotland, London, Barcelona, Paris and a lot of other great places in France, Venice, Sicily and other spots in Italy, Prague, some places in Croatia, Greece and Turkey. Let me know if you need advice for any of these places.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some German of course, some Swabian (our dialect in Stuttgart) and tell you a lot about the cities and places I've been so far. I'd love to see your city from your point of view. I'd be happy if we could share some time together but I understand if you've got stuff to do and I hope you are so kind to let me know some of your favorite spots in town anyway.
