Originally from NYC but currently studying social anthropology in Scotland :) I love to paint and draw, particularly people-- which is my most frequent pastimes when I travel. I also love meeting new people, and eating new food!

I love all types of music! Sometimes I'm told I have no music taste because I will dance to literally whatever has been put on (have danced to sound of silence before--don't know how)

Favourite book is House of Spirits by Isabel Allende :)) I try to read almost anything-- I especially love books related somehow to anthropology!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went hiking and camping/yurt living in rural Kyrgyzstan for 2 weeks. Went to the world nomad games where I earned 800 som in a Kyrgyz dance circle!

Also crashed a Kazakh wedding just once.

I love to be taught new things and I think conversation is such a great way to do that. I think we can learn and teach so much by listening.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I always bring my art supplies so can paint or draw a portrait of you in our time together! If your interested, I can teach you a bit of flamenco--I've been dancing for over 10 years :)) If not, can bring some wine, or a cook a good curry!
