I am a French Morrocan girl living in Toulouse since 2010 and freshly married this summer! I grew up in Morrocco but I'm living in France since I'm 18 years old.

I love travelling, spending time with friends, discovering new people, talking for hours over a tea and a cake.. with interesting people, walking in a big city, and as well in the middle of nowhere, dancing, watching people dance, baking.

I love summer and sunny weather, and I hate when it rains, even though I know it is good for our mother earth!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

With my husband we decided to take a year off and to travel around the world, we think that couchsurfing will be a very nice way to meet people and to get to know the culture of the countries where we will be travelling.

And when back from our travel, we in turn would love to be able to receive people from all over the world, it would be a nice way to continue travelling!

兴趣

I love dancing! latino dancing (bachata, salsa), dancehall, just dancing in general. I also love travelling, and discovering new culture, new people. And I also love baking cakes! And afterwards eating them of course.

Music: I love latino music (bachata especially, and reggeaton), ragga and reggae music and arabic music.
Books: they are lots of books that I loved, but a few years ago I discovered Khaled Hosseini and fell in love with all his books: And the Mountains Echoed, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and the Kite runner. I also loved the Pillars of the Earth and a World Without End from ken Follett
Movies: The only movie I watched more than 10 times when I was young is the Dead Poets Society, more recently I loved My Sweet Pepper Land from Hiner Saleem, Gone Girl from David Fincher

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A few years ago during my annual leave, I went volunteering in Perou for 3 weeks in the Amazon in an animal sanctuary.
For me who is used to working in an office all the time it was amazing to be able to take care of animals, do something completely different from what I am used to do. A real challenge, an opportunity to discover a new way of life.
I loved it!

This is exactly what I imagine couchsurfing would be! Be able to learn from my hosts, learn about their culture, the way they live, cook and eat, but also learn about them.
Be able as well to share my own culture, experience, travels, and who knows maybe teach them a few dance steps and a few receipes! ;)
