Hey :)

I am Sophia from Munich. I finished my BA in English literature a year ago and then took off to live in Istanbul where I did my best to learn Turkish. Then I did an internship in Freiburg at the Goethe-Institut where I helped organising the daily activities for the international language students there. Yesterday I spent my last day at another internship in the field of movie funding in Munich and now I am ready to leave for Bonn where I will start my Master in "German and Comparative Literature" next week (7.10.) . I am still looking for a place to stay during the first three weeks and would be really grateful for any couch. I am an easygoing person who loves to have a good laugh, to cook and eat, to philosophy about life and to do acting with my drama group.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an enriching experience because you really get to know a place from the perspective of the locals. The interpersonal exchange makes every experience much more valuable.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I would have to choose one band I would probably go for "Mumford and Sons", as I both love thier music and their poetic lyrics. The last book that left a great and lasting impression on me was "Idaho" by Emily Ruskovich. Moviewise I could always settle for "August Osage County" or "The Fabulous Destiny of Amelié Poulain".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 15 I participated in a student exchange program: I lived in Wellington, New Zealand where I fell in love for the first time.
