Hi! My name is Sophia Woodward and I have been living in Costa Rica since August of 2023. My family is from the area and owns a small hotel where I work and live. I love traveling, cooking, chasing waterfalls, and getting to know new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to take a few roadtrips over the next few years, so couchsurfing seemed like a great way to meet people. And when I am not on the road I hope to meet new people~

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At 18 I traveled across France, Italy and Morocco for a gap year after finishing High School. It was by far one of the coolest things I have done. In 2017 I studied abroad in Madagascar and studied vanilla production there. I also did a solo trip in 2023 to take some culinary classes in Italy and Spain.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a wonderful meal! Cooking is my love language so I will absolutely offer to cook for you if you stay with me or host me. Also if you're ever in Costa Rica I'll happily host you 💕
