ABOUT ME

Even though I'm really a Home-person, I like to travel and have done so quite a bite, as you can see below.

Although I was born in Germany, I have lived in Denmark since I was 13, became a Citizen at 15, that's 47 years ago now, so I'm feeling quite danish.
I lived in London for 1 year, when I was 19 and worked as an Au Pair Girl in Maida Vale.
I moved to Cpenhagen then, and lived there for 9 years, studying, hosptialwork and yogateaching.
Then my children started appearing, and I moved to the coutryside for another 8 years, since then I have lived and do live in the outskirts of Odense, south/east first and now south/west;o)

PHILOSOPHY

Don't eat meat - the animals like to live too ;o)
and it's not healthy either.
And don't cut down trees, they are living beings too . .
they give life to us - we couldn't breathe without them.
So do plant trees . . a lot of them <3

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted 4 people for all together 11 nights, and surfed with 3 people for 4 nights.
And that's just statistics, but it rocks my world ;o)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the most lovely time in London in March,staying 3 different places for 4 nights with the nicest of people, who fed an smothered me.

Interests

How to tresure life and mother earth, saving the environment, not eating meat. Loving smoothies and raw food - ecologically grown vegiies. Walking in nature every day,with my dog, Ella, 5 years, who is not a vegetarian ;o))

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: The Notebook,The Lucky One, August Rush, Must love dogs, Avatar, Message in a bottle, Billy Elliot, Love Actually, The Sixth Sence, Dead again!.
I like Feng Shui and Bonsai.
Music: New Age like ENYA all kinds of folk music esp.Irish, Classical: I love Organ & Cello. Right now hits: Dvorak's Cello Conc.& Saint Saens 3rd Symph,, The Lark Ascending.
Books: The Golden Donkey( incl. Psyche & Eros) plus this italian writer Andrea something . . I came across in the Library and read 2 of his books in a week.
I read some magasines about alternative, economy & the danish JAK-movement.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to bee able to explain to people, that there is a karmically connection between eating meat (kiliing to eat) and war (killing fellow beings and being killed by them) and also accidents (being killed or injured). Karma being the law of nature that says: as you sow, you shall reap. I sincerely believe that Jesus was vegetarian, and also knew about reincarnation. I love non violent people like Buddhists, and wish Tibet could be free. . .
