ABOUT ME

I am 24, I am from a beautiful city called Adelaide, in South Australia. We have some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, and festivals to rival any.

I am a journalist during the week and on weekends I volunteer at an animal rescue centre. I am creative, inquisitive and spontaneous.

My dream is to become a travel documentary film maker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and hosted. Often I am work long hours and travel around Australia so I can't always host, but I try to help out where I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only surfed with absolutely amazing hosts! They have all been very different and have all made my travel experiences so much better!

Interests

I love travel, photography, reading, drawing, animals, the environment, food, wine, adventure, dreaming, running, swimming, jumping, gelato, learning, anything second hand, cooking and my mum.

I have travelled extensively, but have a lot more to do, I doubt my list will ever be completed.

I enjoy any literature and entertainment that makes me think, ask questions and learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently swam in the Norwegian Sea when the beach was covered in snow and it was -7degrees! That was quite amazing!

I've also trekked to Mount Kaala Pathar 5643m (higher than Everest Base camp) in the Himalayas in 2010.

Actually I have done too many amazing things to list. I'm a lucky charm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe in Karma. Treat others as you would want to be treated. This is particularly relevant when couch surfing. I try my best to be a polite, gracious surfer, cook, do the dishes and help out.
