About Me

A few years ago, I hit a point where I honestly wished for death. I felt stuck, like every dream I had was blocked by a wall too big to climb. I was alone, lost, and everything felt out of reach. But something in me kept fighting. Slowly, I started pushing back. I survived things I never thought I could, and now, I fight for life. These days, I wake up with hunger for growth, for experience, for connection.

I’ve been through a lot, some of it painful, some of it wild, but I don’t regret any of it. Every part of the journey shaped me. I grow so fast now that sometimes I read something I wrote last month and think, “Who was that?” I don’t even recognize the old version of me.

Couchsurfing came into my life during this time of change. It quickly became more than just a travel tool, it became a source of light. There’s something special about Couchsurfers. They have this rare openness and depth. Even though I haven’t had the chance to host much in Bloomington (tiny college town), but I'm moving to a more exciting place… then I’ll take my sweet revenge😅.

I find joy in the little things; walking without a destination, dancing with strangers, getting lost in new cities, and having real conversations. Tattooing is one of my biggest passions. It’s not just about art, it’s about trust, connection, and leaving something meaningful behind.

I’m still learning and growing, but I’ve come a long way from where I started. And now, I live for the moments that make me feel truly alive. If we cross paths, I hope we share something real; whether it’s a story, a laugh, or just a peaceful silence.🥰

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like many others on Couchsurfing, I love traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cities, cultures, and perspectives. Since 2018, Couchsurfing has been a big part of my life, shaping my journey and bringing amazing connections along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Recently, I’ve been listening to artists like Sina Bathaie, who blends traditional Persian instruments (such as the santur and oud) with electronic and world music elements.

Movies & Series: I mostly watch series. I liked The Penguin a lot and was deeply impacted by Lost (I’m not sure why, but it left such a big mark on me that my dreams felt like Lost 😅; even though it’s not a perfect series). The last movie I really liked was The Whale, such an emotional film! Oh my God! Being John Malkovich, and Adaptation… just wow. I’m obsessed with John Malkovich! I was like this the whole movie: 😵😍 and I’m sure I’ll watch them again.

Books: I’m still not great at reading regularly, but the last good book I read was The Richest Man in Babylon.
