About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying the hell of my life as an exchange student.
ABOUT ME
- Born shy but trying to break out of my comfort zone.
- According to my current flatmates in Brighton, "Sophie is adorable like a hamsterrrrrr", so there's that.
- Clumsy as hell. Falls on my face a lot.
- The classic Libra: prepare to wait 20 mins for me to make an order in restaurants.
- My eyes disappear when I laugh. I used to be super insecure about it, but now that is one of the favorite things I like about myself.
PHILOSOPHY
[Sonder] (n). the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.
It's a fake word made up by the internet, but I'm hopelessly in love with the idea of it anyway.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First surfing experience, we met our hosts in Rome through a friend at school and it was perfect! They live in a cute suburb neighborhood where you can walk around without the tourist hustle and really get to know the city, see the real life. They were warm, generous and simply wonderful, told us all the must do and must sees in Rome and really made us feel at home.
Staying with local hosts really made our stay in Rome ten times better. Shout out to Roberta and Andrea with love!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Joined a free walking tour in London, managed to saw both the Queen and Prince Charles within an hour. They were in their cars and waved at us, even our tour guide went complete fanboy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe there is definitely always something I can learn from everybody.
Everytime you hear about someone's story, know what someone considered their home-sick food, or even just learned to say a greeting word from a dialect, you feel like the world just gets a little bigger. It's just so huge so vastly different, and you're so small that you'll never get to know the end of it.
Oh man, isan't that a great feeling?
