Well hello beautiful people! I'm Sophie and I am travelling with my boyfriend, Dave! We are currently living in London and trying to squeeze as many travels in as we can before we head back home to Australia in 2020! We moved to London at the beginning of 2018 and work as Supply teachers in different schools and year levels. This gives us the flexibility to do what we came here to do, which is travel.

Nothing excites us more than arriving in a new country and exploring the very best of what it has to offer.

We are both easy going people who love to chat and share stories and love talking to people about their experiences and their journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is our first time trying Couch Surfing! 2 of my friends have been couchsurfing all year and they LOVE it and highly recommend it, so we thought we'd try it out!

We've stayed in airbnb's, and we've enjoyed talking to the hosts and find it really useful when they give us tips and secrets about their cities.

When we get back home, we'd love to be able to give back the experience and host guests at our place.

We are looking forward to meeting some cool people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm obsessed with finding second hands books, so whatever I find I read. At the moment I am on the hunt for The Millenium series, any Non-Fiction book about WW2, any inspiring true story, books about autism.

We are both (embarrassingly) obsessed with Love Island, Friends and any trashy movie.

Dave is a HUGE Killers fan; one of his highlights of the year is when we went to see them at concert in Oslo. He can cook a delicious meal and loves finding out about different cuisines from around the world. He can also bust out a tune or two on his guitar!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although we had a fantastic (and somewhat comfortable!) lifestyle in Melbourne, with family and friends, we decided to pack up our lives and move to the other side of the world to embark on a journey; just the 2 of us. We are having such a fabulous time and would love you to be part of our journey and our life story.
