About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see nice things, meet lovely people, be kind.

ABOUT ME

I like to think I'm pretty nice, I'm kind and relaxed and happy and tidy. I can make a nice cup of tea and a lovely meal and I'll probably make you a necklace made from shells I find. I'm pretty tall as well so I'm handy to have around if you need to reach things high up.

PHILOSOPHY

Furs and silver chairs and shiny things are just a fuss, We'll eat all the peanuts that we steal from the circus, We'll count all the stars and fall asleep under a bus, We'll travel light and that's the life for us!

Not my own philosophy but an excellent one by Jeffrey Lewis.

To be content and free and honest and not worry about too many things, I think that's what is important.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new to couchsurfing, let me live with you please?

Interests

People I love, people I haven't yet met. Beaches, collecting shells. Forests, I love trees I think they're awesome, especially really big gnarly ones. Art, music, tea, bloody mary's, biscuits, animals, watching strange bugs crawl around for hours. Being inspired by beautiful simplicity.

Music, Movies, and Books

Surf's Up. That's the only film you will ever need, it's funny and sad and inspirational and it's about a surfing penguin.

All of the music! acoustic, folk, punk, rock, gypsy, blues.

Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac. I found it while travelling and I thought it was beautiful, I'll let you borrow it if you like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's not one amazing thing that stands out, there's so much fun in everything and whether it's climbing to the crater rim of a volcano in Indonesia and going for walks and drinking tea at home with my best friend, it's all pretty amazing I think.

Teach, Learn, Share

Adventure and exploring are equally as important as drinking wine and playing guitar. I want to go rock climbing and running and cycling and then I want to sit on a comfy sofa and watch a film with some friends. Also, I think harmonica's are super cool, so if somebody could teach me to play one that would be lovely.
