Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently crossing the country with my boy friend (the boy in my profile picture) and since I'm a student and he's a recent grad we don't have the money to stay ~in luxury~. I also think that a trip is more interesting if you meet cool folks along the way, and this seems like a great way to do it. I think the idea is pretty rad, and as soon as I have a place of my own I like the idea of hosting people. Couchsurfing creates a pretty cool community and I love the idea of being a part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite authors are Tobias Wolff, David Mitchell, and many more. I think everyone should read Cloud Atlas. My favorite movies are Say Anything, Pans Labyrinth, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Almost Famous. I listen mostly to diy punk stuff, like Swearin', Pill Friends, and Elvis Depressedly, but I like almost anything. I've been spending a lot of time listening to Fleetwood Mac recently.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a good cook and a good baker, and I would love to cook with a host! I also could share a bunch of random facts. I would love to either go out for a beer with a host or watch a movie, either is my idea of a great time.
