ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Sophie. I would describe myself as very open-minded and courious (concerning new cultures, languages, cities). I love to explore and travel. Last year I graduated from school and went to London for a few months to work for a disabled woman. I enjoyed multicultural Britian a lot. This April I started at university and managed to finish my first semester of medical studies. Now I am looking forward to having two months of for traveling and exploring.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now (as I lately moved into a new room) I cannot provide a couch as my room does not even have a bed in it for me to sleep in at the moment. This will change as soon as I come back from my holidays. However, I would like to provide a couch as soon as possible. I would be happy to host people from all over the world then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet made any experiences concerning couch surfing. However, I am looking forward to make some this year=)

兴趣

In my free time I do sports, listen to live music (as there is not that much time to practice), read books or do some drawing. I love good food and cooking and whenever there is enough time and ingredients in my fridge I invite friends for dinner as I enjoy it even more if I can share it.

Currently I am reading some of Tiziano Terzanis books (one of those the fifth time as I really like it but never finish because the author dies at its end). I really like french movies such as MicMac or the Intouchables. Other movies I quite like are: Side Effects, Harold and Maude, The music never stopped, beautiful mind, Life of Pi, Les Miserables....

The best thing I have ever done is jumping into every single lake on hiking tours that I come across... No matter how cold the water is. I can only recommend this. You have probably never felt that much alive than after doing this.

I guess I am pretty good at drawing so if someone is interested in learning something about this I would be happy to help. Moreover I could teach a little Spanish, German, French or English. I could also teach some cooking. If you are a food lover just like me I would appreciate to enjoy a nice meal with you and exchange experiences. I would really like to learn Italian or Russian.
