Overview
About Me
I was born in Paris but spent most of my life in London, and then came back to Paris to study Law. This year, I will go back to London to study Politics and IR.
I've been very lucky by living abroad and bu travelling a lot, which has considerably shaped me and made me always eager to meet new people, and mostly if they're international!
I think you can learn a great deal from people coming from different backgrounds and culture, and love to discuss with new people and learn new things from them!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Many friends have told me Couchsurfing was a great way for meeting with new people, and that they made international friends that way! I am deeply curious and would love to welcome anyone foreign to my Parisian home!
Music, Movies, and Books
- Anything from JP Sartre or Albert Cohen, Eve Ensler's Vagina monologues, Maya Angelou, and lately I've been reading an incredible book on the war on drugs called Chasing the Scream.
- I love classical music and play the violin, but also slam, western African music, reggae, techno...
- As a great movie fan, I tend to enjoy independent cinema and french "cinema d'auteur", or colourful and mystical movies, e.g. Wes Anderson, or Korean cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started understanding that my ambition was helping others, and mostly knowing the most differences in the world, and appreciating people for who they were. By reading, travelling and volunteering, especially in Greece last Summer, I realised how being opened-minded in wonderful.
For example, I went back from Athens to Paris by bus and car, which was thrilling!
Now I devote most of my time to helping refugees and listen to their stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love history, theatre, literature, anthropology and cinema, and especially discussing human rights and development!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could share some of my knowledge of Paris, which I know quite well, and especially love walking through at night, and would love to listen to their personal stories.
