About Me

I'm a 1st grade teacher and lifestyle blogger trying to live a beautiful, mindful life!

When I'm not busy teaching, I've been on quite a journey to get more connected to nature. I've been doing that through yoga, meditation, eating more plant-based, and by making more environmentally conscious choices. I teach my students the importance of having a positive impact on the world so I want to be a good example of that! I love being outside and going on hikes, swimming, and finding new, exciting places. I'm also all about exploring a new city and trying lots of different foods!

I love meeting new people and can't wait to share experiences with anyone I meet. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sister and many friends have had great experiences through couch surfing. There are incredible, loving people all over the world and I think this is an awesome way to meet them!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like alternative/indie rock, oldie tunes, some rap and EDM, and pretty much anything you can sing or dance to. I'll watch all types of different movies and I like any fiction that is generally easy to read and grabs the reader, especially mysteries or more intense stories (Into the Water is my most recent fave). I also love a good self help book that helps me grow as a person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always open to learning new things and hearing about different experiences. I'm all for deep, enriching conversations so I'll soak up whatever you want to share!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really love cooking and have recently become more plant-based so I would love to share some vegan recipes! Also if you want a good story from teaching a bunch of ridiculous first graders, I've got you.
