Hi! Nice to meet you - I'm Sophie, a 21 year old girl from Austria. I am currently studying veterinary medicine in Vienna so whenever I have some time off (which barely ever happens haha) I try to travel as much as possible to make some progress on my bucket list :)
I am very passionate about animals (obvs for a vet student haha) and the environment and that's why I live a vegan lifestyle.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet new people and what better way to get to know someone than by sleeping on their couch!? But for real, making new friends whilst traveling is an essential part of having a good time while being on the go so Couchsurfing is the perfect platform to not only find a roof over ones head for a couple of days but also to go easy on our travel budget which is - if you are a student like me - never much.

This summer I am going to be traveling Canada for 5 weeks which was the main reason to finally sign up for Couchsurfing and I'm hoping to meet loads of new people during that journey :) (Being away for 5 weeks is also why I can't take in couchsurfers myself unfortunately)

I've done 6 months of volunteering with orphaned and/or hurt wildlife in Africa and also jumped out of a plane aka skydived whilst being there which was one heck of an experience.
