Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing allows you to really get a feel for a place and its culture. I love to meet people who are from the place I'm visiting rather than only staying in hostels or hotels. I love sharing and learning too.

Hmm, anything goes really. Rolling Stones, Otis Redding, Red Hot Chili Peppers, lots of reggae, 90s hip hop like A Tribe Called Quest, Drake, Amy Winehouse, Sidestepper, Onda Vaga, Soha.

I love 20th century literature.. Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath. Post Colonial literature really interests me as well. 19th century too.. Alice in Wonderland, Jane Austen.. And at the moment I have been reading lots of Spanish and Latin American stuff too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can hold a headstand for a decent amount of time, and I can climb a palm tree...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and basic Spanish, a bit of yoga/personal training. I like to hang out and paint with other people. I would love to learn some more arty or practical skills, like mosaic or gardening. I also like learning new stuff in the kitchen (beware: I can only cook when I really really concentrate).
