I grew up in Luxembourg, but I'm currently studying German and Italian in Innsbruck, because since I've been a child, I wanted to live in the mountains. I thought university was the right time to realize that dream and so far I don't regret it.

My philosophy can be summed up in two ways: Respect every being in this world and life-long-learning. I think you should never lose interest in trying out new things, not only about traveling, but about everything, because every experience makes you grow and expands your mind. There is so much to see and learn and give in this world, so never be afraid to leave your comfort zone and enter new fields.

It gives you the opportunity to see a place through the eyes of someone who lives there and not to see only the tourist spots. Furthermore I think it's amazing to get to know people from all over the world and from other cultures. It's always said that travel helps reduce stereotypes and I think this works best if you stay with a local or if someone from another place stays with you.

I volunteered in Benin for 4 months, an absolutely amazing experience! One of my many highlights in Benin was jumping spontaneously into a waterfall at the end of a day of safari.

I climbed down into a crevasse on a glacier in Switzerland, one of the most impressive moments of my life.
