My name is Sophie and I am traveling with my partner Dayton! We have just spent an amazing year in Wanaka, New Zealand and excited to move to Melbourne for a while! I've studied in University and am now looking to travel and get out there before applying to graduate school. Very excited to meet new people and explore new cities!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I are traveling a lot. This means it is difficult to make friends and find cool people while bouncing from one place to another. I love to meet travelers and others with similar interests as they always have the best stories!

I read a ton. Recently into a bit of nonfiction but generally nice light stuff like Kurt Vonnegut, Malcolm Gladwell, classics and Game of Thrones books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around South America primarily by myself when I was 21 to Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile for 6 months.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my love of travel planning and relaxed nights and days. I can teach a little embroidery or needle work or be a travel buddy to explore with.
