Hey, my name is Sophie 😊 I am currently traveling southeast Asia with my husband Alex. We decided to escape the rain and politics of England in May and have been on the road ever since!
Exploring is something I have loved doing since I was a wee nipper, and meeting new people is a huge part of that. There is nothing better then sharing stories with new friends.

About me - I am from London, I studied art at university but I can't draw to save my life. I love animals of all shapes and sizes (if you like weird animal facts, I have plenty). I have discovered a love of history while traveling, so that's a new hobby I guess.
Alex is from just outside London, he likes climbing, reading, eating and watching sunsets. He's a bit scatterbrained but knows more about League of Legends then I can stand to listen to.
We are both nice people (so we've heard) don't take up much room and are very respecfull of other people's space and homes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I think it's a great way to meet new people and get local knowledge of a new area.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alex and I love watching movies. We are oddly proud of having been to the cinema in every country we have visited... Fave movies are: Bladerunner 2049, Arrival, Silance of the Lambs, Pontypool, and I have a weird obsession with the F&F franchise....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A geyser eruption in Iceland (and Iceland overall to be honest), the view from Little Adams Peak in Sri Lanka, and this one time I was in Nottinghill and I saw a seagull eating the corpse of a crow and that was pretty hardcore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can offer weird animal facts and snacks. If you would like dinner cooked for you, breakfast rustled up, or just a beer and a chat then we are pretty good at all of those too 😊
