About Me

Hello ☺️

I am a German girl currently on my way to Indonesia. Together with my little brother (18) I want to explore the beautiful nature and culture of this interesting country.
My brother Michael just finished school and is joining me for a trip full of adventures, new friendships emotions and experiences before he will start his adult life and I will return to my studies.
Before that I was staying in Istanbul for studying (Erasmus) and exploring the city.
I love to get to know new cultures, experience the spirit of foreign countries as well as the spirit of other travellers and the locals. I would like to meet new people and exchange some stories. 😊

A few years ago I traveled New Zealand and Japan for a year with my friend Charlotte. We used my account for Couchsurfing as well and had amazing experiences staying with Couchsurfing hosts. You will find some references from this time on this profile page.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to make new friends and get to know the culture and the pepople of the country you travel in a closer and better way. You are like a guest or even like a good friend and learn so much more about the common practises.
Not to forget all the awesome stories hosts and guests can tell each other and the exchange of knowledge. The spirit of the couchsurfing community is great!

Interests

In love with music! I play the piano and I am trying to learn how to play the guitar (unfortunately I don't have a guitar with me here in Istanbul). I listen to many different artists and genres.
Back in Germany I played improvisation theatre (if you never heard about it, watch some videos on youtube they will make you laugh - I promise! 😉) and Volleyball.
Meeting all the talented, creative people on my travels made me want to learn how to paint - that's my next project when returning to my daily life in Münster.
