One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve lived aboard a boat 6 years long
and I sailed around the world slowly ...

So I learned to travel step by step and to meet more and more. My two sons have travelled with me as much as possible.

The hospilality and warm welcome of locals especially from Pacific people. I remember so strong days in Yemen and weeks in Cambodia also.

Also magic instants as eared seals and dolphins surfing waves in Galapagos together, volcano Yasur eruption in Tanna in Vanuatu archipelago and patagonian navigation which changed my way of life.

The fear of my life was the Mont Blanc ascension and the most intense treks tepui Roraima ascension in Venezuela and a 6000 in Uyuni salar in Bolivia.

J’ai vécu 6 ans sur un voilier
ce qui m’a permis de faire un tour du monde,

lentement, d’apprendre à voyager, petit à petit et d’aller à la rencontre encore et toujours plus. Mes deux fils ont été du voyage, le plus souvent possible.

Ce qui m’a le plus touchée, c’est l’accueil et hospitalité de locaux, plus particulièrement des peuples du Pacifique. J’ai aussi dans le cœur quelques jours passés au Yémen et des semaines très fortes au Cambodge.

Et aussi les images de moments magiques ou forts comme un ballet d’otaries et de dauphins surfant ensemble les vagues des Galapagos, l’éruption du volcan Yasur à Tanna aux Vanuatu et une navigation en Patagonie, point de départ d’une vie différente.

La peur de ma vie fut l’ascension du Mont Blanc et les treks les plus intenses, l’ascension du tepui Roraima au Venezuela et un 6000 dans le salar d’Uyuni en Bolivie.
