I'm looking for culture, food and chilling. I'm a great guest as I am friendly, tidy and will wash dishes!

I'm a high school teacher so holidays are so precious. I travelled for eighteen months a few years ago and I like my holidays now to feel like a real experience by meeting new people and seeing places of beauty. The more local, the better!

My favourite places are Sri Lanka, India and The Philippines but I'm exploring closer to home at the moment, in Europe really. I'm excited about exploring more of Northern Spain and also Portugal this summer. 😍

I want to get to know a place through meeting the people who live there. I have heard many people talking about coach surfing recently and it seems like a brilliant way to share experiences and meet people who actually live in the area you are visiting.

My favourite books are numerous, but I really like His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman and many history books.

I hiked to Everest Base Camp. I wasn't used to lots of hard hiking at that point, so it was a real accomplishment for me! And it was so so beautiful every step of the way.
