ABOUT ME

Hi !! I'm Sophie, 27 and he is Yohann, 30.
We've met each other in Brittany 12 years ago and since, we went to Lyon to discover an other part of France, in Norway, Eastern Europe and Germany.
Now, we live together in Corsica and we are fond of going abroad and meeting locals.

PHILOSOPHY

We are not materialist and we try to be the most humble or simple we can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We were 5 friends and we were welcome in Freiburg am B. (Germany) by nice people living in a big house : they had a great way of life. Actually they were between 10 and 20 living there, but everything was so clean, organized !! We were astonished !

Bravo !

We have hosted many many people and each time it was a real pleasure.
Twice, we really needed help and couchsurfers were so helpful. Thanks

BRITTANY TOUR IN TANDEM
We have always wanted to discover west Brittany : so we took 1 bike for 2, a tent and we left my parents' house in Rennes. In 10 days we have ridden 750 kms and I suffered a lot because I was ill (imagine your 20-year birthday under the rain, feeling so bad !)
Finally, it was a great experience but the tandem was so heavy and not adapted to the relief. We were so disapointed to see how villages become emptier and emptier but the landscapes were so wonderful !

TWO MONTHS IN EAST EUROPA
We stayed one month with the locals in a small village in Romania near Arad. We worked and we spent a month with people speaking mainly only Romanian language, so we learned it on the job !
We made really good friends and we plan to see them in few years.
Then we came back to France by the country lanes and we visited Hugary (Kecskemét, Balaton Lake, Sopron), Vienna and Salzburg in Austria. Actually we stopped in many smaller towns between them, but we can't remember all of the names !
This 2-month holidays were really cool because they were cheap (we prepared it early) and really enriching because we met people from different point of view and way of life !

AND SO MANY MORE LIKE...
- living 1 AMAZING year in Norway where we were hiking every single weekend
- enjoying 4 months in Karlsruhe, Germany, drinking beer and partying
