About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the hidden parts of cities

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live life to the full. We only have a limited time on this planet, so we may as well make the most of it. Do something exciting and something that scares you every day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am travelling so cannot offer my couch, but I hope to be able to provide somewhere for people to stay as soon as I am home. I want to be able to participate in the expansion of this network and enable people to travel in the UK at ease. I want to explore the places that I visit in an un-touristy way; meet the locals, find and explore places that are more personal and perhaps therefore with more character than what I might find by following a guide book, even an alternative one!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of yet I have not had any CS experience but hopefully this will change soon!

Interests

Theatre, literature, music, film, art... anything creative and artistic really!

AND shopping, coffee shops, parties, cocktails, getting caught in very heavy rain, summer, winter, fireworks, evenings, hanging out with friends, reading, shoes, drinking wine and eating a pizza at home in front of a good film...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three weeks in Tanzania a few years ago. One night I was sharing a tent with my little sister and was woken up at about 3am by what sounded like a really loud cat. Turns out it was a lion. A big one (huge footprints in the dust the following morning!) He lay down outside our tent and kept yawning, meowing (in a scary, lion-esque way), and roaring until about 6am. Needless to say, I got no sleep that night! Pretty amazing thing - although heard rather than seen :/
