About Me

READ BEFORE YOU WRITE ME:
This is not meant to be mean, but CS has changed a lot over the years and that has consequences to how people approach each other on this website. I do NOT host anyone as a rule because my place is just to small. If you want me to reply to your message please make it personal and longer than three sentences. I really enjoy meeting up with fellow CSers but only ones that are on here with complete profiles and a genuine interest.

CURRENT MISSION

Get my degree (another couple years to go), after that travel South America & Africa and eat as much local food as I can along the way!

ABOUT ME

I'm an American/Dutch girl who has spent half her life in SE Asia but now calls The Netherlands home. For the past years I worked and traveled around, figuring out what life had to offer. But now, for the coming few years, I'll be an 'Amsterdammer', studying like a maniac.

Be aware that my schedule is busy. I work pretty much every weekend and evening. Plus am a full time student. This means that I'm happy to meet up for coffee or brunch when I have time. But if you simply message me for the best clubs or dutch coffee shops I'm not going to be able to help you out...

PHILOSOPHY

Travel far. Drink wine. Think it over. Laugh a lot. Take a dive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people who have open personalities & have interesting stories to tell is the main reason for me.
I think to really get to know a country and its culture when you're only there for a few days can happen by spending a night on a locals couch.

Interests

Off the beaten track adventures. Museums and heritage, obviously as I study this.
I'm a real foodie! And my biggest love is Vietnamese coffee.
