ABOUT US

We're an easy going couple (aged 26 and 29) both working. Sophie is a History teacher and works during the week but Benjamin sometimes work during weekends. That is why we can't host at any time.

Last year, we travelled four months in Asia starting in February 2014. Our goal was to understand and experience to the fullest the culture of the different countries we'd visit. That is mainly why we registered on couchsurfing at first. We believed that there's no better way than meeting locals to achieve this goal! Unfortunately, we had a hard time finding reliable Internet connection during our trip and in the end we did not experience couchsurfing as we thought we would.

That is why, now that we are back home, we feel enthusiastic in hosting travellers. We would like to bring different cultures in our small apartment.

Also, we're both open-minded, interested, reliable, neat and discrete persons when necessary. Unfortunately, Ben doesn't have good English yet but he's working on it!

PHILOSOPHY

We studied history to improve our understanding of the present, of the world we're living in. Now that we're done with the paperwork, we want to get to know this reality on the field, through travels, contacts, discussions, ...

Movies: The classics; Seven, Fight Club, The Usual Suspect, as Sophie's a huge fan of unexpected endings. Also, we enjoy auteur cinema.

Music: Rock, Trip-Hop, Rap, Reggae, Electro, Drum n' bass, ...
To list a few bands we listen to: Pink Floyd, Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Massive Attack, Bonobo, Wax Tailor, Rage against the Machine, The National, Editors, Motorhead, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Netsky, Subfocus, Logistics, and many many more.

Others: We like reading Noam Chomsky and his pairs. Ben also REALLY enjoys videogames.
