LIFE STORY
I was born on my dads yacht in NZ. As a baby we set off and sailed around the world, stopping in England 3 years.
After this we settled back in NZ and I became a city kid through highschool.
For 2 years after high school I travelled and worked in the states and Canada, then I cracked into my tertiary education.
A changed women with a new perspective on life I moved to Australia for a year working in the field of marine education and am now on the road once more.
After three months in Europe I am now backpacking through Vietnam and next on to Malaysia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the concept of couch-surfing. It is another form of connecting with people from around the world. Another form to experience peoples way of life.
And of course a spot on a couch is always a bonus.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had an amazing first couch-surfing experience on Vancouver island. My lovely host couple took my cousin and I hiking, canoeing and disc-golfing. We were very lucky!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - It depends on the situation. With a big croud of people I like comedies. As a small group I like dramas and thrillers, the thinking type movies.
Music - I can listen to anything. I`m a big fan of New Zealand dub music. I love reggae, rock, electro, house, trance...the list goes on.
Books - Jody Picoult is my favourite author. I go through phases of reading a lot and not reading at all for long lengths of time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 9 I was in the Marquesas Islands, in the Pacific with my family, on the boat. As I looked out of the bay I saw a Humpback whale shoot up out of the water. Other yachties had seen the whales too and we soon got a snorkel group together. We spent several hours in the water with the pod of whales, fully grown and babies too. I may have been young but it was still an amazing and unforgettable experience.
