About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel in Spain and around Europe as much as possible. Also - try to figure out how I can make the world a better place while doing something I love.

ABOUT ME

I am an introverted, open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people, traveling, and good conversation. I think the best way to get to know someone is to meet them in person.

PHILOSOPHY

you can't really control anything but yourself, which is all the more reason to use your own skills, education and goodwill to help better the world in the kindest way possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently don't have a couch to offer but once I settle down somewhere I will be sure to offer space up to any kind, eager traveler.

Interests

I love to knit and sew, I make a lot of my own clothes. I also enjoy being outdoors - running, hiking, biking, walking, exploring, etc. I love to read and watch movies and try new food. I care a lot about the earth and all of its inhabitants.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pretty much all types of music, given the right context. I also love movies - I watch a lot of them. Books - trying to get back into reading, love anything by Ian McEwan, Margaret Atwood, Dr. Seuss, and so much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee Jumping! Twice!
Once I ran and walked 53km in 9 hours up and down some small mountains. It was exhausting!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach my hosts to knit while I stay with them. I also love learning new languages and am more than willing to help anyone with their English. I love learning about the history of different places, particularly social history. I also love discussing current social issues.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Ghana, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, New Zealand, Spain, United States
