ABOUT ME

Although at first I can be shy and insecure, my curiosity always prevails. I'm facinated by all living creatures. How they behave, how they interact, how they live and how they die. Observing all these things happening on this earth makes me feel alive. It makes me happy and it makes me sad. But most importantly, it gives me energy. All this sounds very deep and maybe a little bit to bla bla bla, but it's really who I am. I could sit on a little bench on a square in a city, the whole day, just observing people. Love it. I can try to read a book in between, but that won't last too long, because I will be distracted by the things happening around me. Which can be very annoying sometimes, because I would like to be able to be more focused sometimes. Bla bla, bla bla. Beside this part of me, I have to tell you I am very extravert. Even if I say so myself, I'm very open minded. I like to say things as they are and I can have a very strong opinion which I really like to share most of the time. But, I can also listen to other peoples opinions and I like to discuss them. Basically I like to interact with people, I like to share things, I like to act, I like to sing and I like to dance. But in the end, a good sense of humor is the most important thing for me after our basic needs; eat,drink and have sex. If more people would have a better sense of humor, the world would be a lot more pleasant for all living creatures. Think about that;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm living again in my old room in the most beautiful city in the world, Amsterdam! When I was travelling around the United States of America with my friend Desi, we usually slept in our car but of course once in a while we needed a shower and stuff. So Desi had the great idea to go couchsurfing. She hosted a couple of people back home in Amsterdam and so she knew it could also be a nice opportunity to meet nice people. In Houston(Texas) my first couchsurf experience started. The best experience ever and from then on I couchsurfed in almost every city we have been through. This journey came to an end 1 month ago but I still do not have a stable home in Amsterdam. But when I will have a nice place to stay myself, I'll definitely host people there and let them see how wonderful my hometown is.
