ABOUT ME

I have recently returned to the UK from a year living in Cuba. Before that I was living, working and studying in Glasgow, Scotland for 7 years. I am in between homes, but will be moving to live in London in a few months time.
I've done a number of different jobs since graduating, mainly around design, textile design and printing
I want to carry on learning Spanish !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because couchsurfing is great! I think anyone reading this already knows the reasons why!
but to spell out the obvious.... to meet people, to make it possible for people to stay in cities when without CS they couldn't afford to, (for me going to cities and also hosting people in mine), and to share knowledge and wisdom and love for places. And to be open and put trust in strangers in the spirit of 'there's a lot of great people in the world, and this is one way of enjoying that'
And also to say F*** you to (not all) but many of the people on air bnb who are crushing the culture of CS (as well as driving up the rent in many cities making them un-affordable places to live).
