About Me

Travel Europe with my boyfriend and then South America on my own :).

I am happy and easy-going. I'm interested in cultures and traditions and find it interesting to meet people with different views. That's why I am always traveling ;)

You really only live once, better make it count! Don't become a cog in the machine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has brought me many great experiences. I've met heaps of cool people and made some really good friends.

Me and my previous boyfriend have hosted over 50 people at our place in Brisbane, London and then Sydney. These have all been amazing experiences, I love having people over! I've also stayed at a few places in New Zealand and Europe.

Hmm lots of things, philosophy, music, reading, writing, photography, traveling, eating, cooking, people eating the food I cooked ;), talking (a lot), drinking wine, laughing, surfing, studying, cognitive science, painting, hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to sum up but to give a few, The Name of the Wind is one of the most magical books I've ever read. I love listening to Nick Drake and the Fleet Foxes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done is spending a week in the Amazon. With my boyfriend and his uncle Paulo, who started Greenpeace in Brazil. We went on a boat trip trough the Amazon river to get to a very beautiful and basic house on a little desert island. There we spent the week with some friends making music, telling stories and exploring nature. It was very back to basic without electricity or a warm shower. It was so nice and relaxing and the natural surrounding was absolutely amazing! Listening to Paulo's stories about his work for Greenpeace was so interesting and inspiring. I recommend everyone who's on a holiday in Brazil to stay in the Amazon for a few days!
