ABOUT ME

I grew up in Texas. My dream vacation is somewhere cooler in the summertime in a mountain region. I have lived in Mississippi, Massachusetts, and Germany. I like to talk to people and start spontaneous conversations at the grocery store. My two grown children are almost perfect (lucky me!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In July 2007 I had my first couch surfing adventure in Seattle, Washington. It was heartwarming to meet total strangers, be invited into their home and yet feel like we were not really strangers at all because of the couchsurfing connection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

raised two incredible children, performed in Eleanor Steber's masterclass, went back to college and finished my degree at age 50, heard Maurice Andre (trumpet) perform with the Paris Symphony under the direction of Herbert Von Karajan, lived in Germany for 11 years.....
