About Me
HELLO :-)
I am happy to share tea and coffee with you or cook a warm meal. As well as some dorky humour and stories about wild waterfalls. And mashed potatoes for sure. Also I can share my knowledge about trees and forests with you, a subject I graduated in the last couple years.
My name is Soshy and I enjoy good laughs, playing diabolo, exploring rivers and trails, dancing wildly to a set or concert I hear, floating with the kayak and strengthening friendships. Building a community network and being a feminist are important to me.
Currently I am on a the move for a bit, which is both scary and fascinating and I'm curious who and what will cross my ways. Just now I return from a bikepacking trip through Norway. I am convinced that things fall into place for most parts in life when I stay open for new situations, ideas, chances and changes of plans. Housing projects have become a big topic for me in the former year and I experienced around with functional living and living on the countryside in a farm house with a group of people who bought the house.
These times I really enjoy sleeping outdoors with all ups and downs with cold and rainy nights but then waking up to sunshine in the morning and immediately feel grateful for my natural sorrounding. However cities sometimes do pull me into its fascinating subcultural structures where so many interesting people meet at such small space.
I am a curious, communicative person and enjoy a night out, cozy evening, sports or spending some time together. :-) on the other hand if you are busy or anything I'm quite autonomous and my standards of comfort are really low haha so no worries about sleeping on the floor.
Thankful for any warm encounter along the route: hang-outs, a roof for a night, a garden where I can put up the tent, a shower to offer or a possibility to charge the phone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me couchsurfing is one of these structures that strenghten community building and gather people who maybe would otherwise not have met each other. I am grateful for glimpsing through the eye of a person who is connected to a place or people. Especially in these times it is so easy to get connected by internet and I think it's time to listen to peoples' stories remotely, stay interested and hospitable. :-)
