I live alone in a traditional Japanese house near Saiin Station in Kyoto.
It’s an old-style house, and I have a spare bedroom for guests.

I spent one year in New Zealand on a working holiday visa, and I’ve traveled to the United States, Europe, and several Asian countries.
I’ve been to many different states in the US, so I really enjoy talking about travel, cultures, and road trips.

My hobbies include motorcycling, DIY projects, fishing, and traveling.
I like simple daily life and meeting people from different backgrounds.

Check-in and check-out times can vary depending on the day, but I’m pretty flexible and rarely strict about timing, so feel free to ask.

In winter, the house does not have air conditioning for heating, but I use a kerosene heater, warm futons, and a kotatsu to stay warm, so it should be comfortable even in cold seasons.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

One of my biggest reasons for using Couchsurfing is cultural exchange and having more opportunities to speak English in real life.

I really enjoy learning about different cultures, values, and ways of thinking through everyday conversations, not just through travel or the internet.
Hosting guests allows me to experience the world without leaving Kyoto, and I find that very meaningful.
